Years

I started making beats in my bedroom in Brixton at fourteen. Two decades later, the process hasn't changed much — I still chase the feeling of a sound that makes the hair on your arms stand up. What has changed is the scale. From underground grime to orchestral film scores, I've learned that every genre is just a different language for the same human impulse: to feel something.

Grammy-nominated producer. Sound designer for film and television. Founder of Workshop Studios, London. Lecturer at the Royal Academy of Music.

I don't separate genres. I don't separate analog from digital. The best music happens when you stop drawing lines and start listening to what the sound wants to become.

The Workshop

Located in a converted warehouse in Hackney, The Workshop is a fully analog and digital hybrid studio. Custom-built console, vintage synthesizer collection, and a live room large enough for a 20-piece ensemble. This is where every project begins and ends.
