I grew up sketching album covers and film posters. That obsession with image-making turned into a career directing visuals for brands that want to be felt, not just seen. Every campaign starts with a gut feeling — my job is to make that feeling undeniable.

I trained in Europe, worked across three continents, and now I’m based wherever the project needs me. Every commission begins with the site itself — its geology, its weather, the way people move through it. The building comes from listening.

I’ve been obsessing over words since I was old enough to steal my father’s thesaurus.
Fifteen years and 120 brands later, I still believe the right sentence changes everything. My work lives at the intersection of strategy and craft — I help brands find words that feel inevitable, not invented.

Photography found me before I found it. Growing up between Honolulu and Berlin, I learned to see the world as a series of contrasts — light and shadow, silence and noise, permanence and flux. That tension drives every frame I shoot.
My approach is rooted in patience and presence. I spend days on location before shooting — observing how light moves through a building, how people inhabit a space. The camera comes last. Understanding comes first.
I work primarily with architects and design studios who need photography that reveals the intent behind their work — not just the surface. Currently based in Los Angeles, available worldwide.
