Twelve photographers, four days, one neighbourhood. The spring workshop ended last Sunday with a small exhibition in a borrowed shop window, and I am still thinking about the work.
The exercise that worked best was the simplest: spend a whole morning with one person, and bring back only five pictures. Editing down is where most of the learning happened.
